Full Diagnostic Assessment
A range of standardised assessments support identification of cognitive strengths and difficulties, literacy attainment, barriers to learning and whether a diagnosis of dyslexia is appropriate. The report will meet the standards of SASC (SpLD Assessment Standards Committee) and will be valid for a lifetime. It can be used as evidence for Disabled Students’ Allowance in higher education.
Access Arrangements Assessments
Formal assessment of students who may require additional support during exams. The process includes a thorough evaluation of the student’s needs in order to determine the most appropriate accommodations to ensure the student can demonstrate their knowledge and understanding.

This work must be commissioned directly by the centre administering the examinations.
Cognitive and Learning Assessment
This assessment will identify cognitive strengths and difficulties, literacy attainment and barriers to learning. Recommendations will focus on resources and strategies that will meet the needs of the learner and can be used as evidence in EHCP applications.
This assessment does not identify whether a pupil has dyslexia.
